Greetings, newcomers!
It's GM Nine again!
Today we'll learn about the new "Trainer" system introduced in the v8.0.9 update, which allows you to develop players further!
[Trainer]
Trainers assist in player development. They can be equipped to individual players to increase the stats or influence the chance of certain situations occurring based on the player's traits.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
- Trainers can be viewed via the main screen → team management → trainer,
trainer tab at the top of the player detailed screen or trainer button on the bottom-right.
- You can go straight to the trainer equip page by tapping the trainer button in the player details screen or the + button on an empty trainer slot.
[Trainer Types]
"Trainers" and "Special Trainers" are available for pitchers and batters.
Trainers are available as Bronze / Silver / Gold grades, and Special Trainers as Silver / Gold / Diamond grades. Each Trainer has main, position, and sub options based on the type and grade.
The main option of Trainers increases the player's stats by up to 3 at random. Higher grades provide a greater stats increase. The amount of increase per grade is as follows.
- Bronze: Increase up to 2 stats / Increase by up to 3 per stat / Total MAX increase: 5
- Silver: Increase up to 3 stats / Increase by up to 5 per stat / Total MAX increase: 8
- Gold: Increase up to 3 stats / Increase by up to 7 per stat / Total MAX increase: 12
A Special Trainer's main option increases or decreases the chance of certain situations occurring at random. Higher grades give a higher or lower chance of certain situations occurring.
The main option effects of Special Trainers for batters and pitchers are as follows.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
Enter the Trainer page and tap the “?” button on the right to check the effect and description of each Trainer!
Gold or higher Special Trainers have a position option. Up to 2 are applied based on the Trainer's grade.
The effect of position options is applied based on the player's starting position registered to each lineup.
※ The Trainer effect will not be applied if a player who can play multiple positions (1B / 3B) starts as a 1B or a Trainer with a sub option is equipped and starts as a 3B.
※ The effect is applied if a player equipping a Trainer with a 1B position option is registered as a 1B in the league lineup and starts in a league game. The effect is not applied if registered as a DH in the battle lineup and starts in a Ranked Battle game.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
- For outfielders, the effect is applied based on the actual position registered to the lineup (LF, RF, CF).
- For relievers, the effect is also applied based on the actual position registered to the lineup (RP, CP).
- Position options appear to reflect the player's stats for each position. For pitchers, more SP and RP options will appear.
- Options that are not applied because they do not meet the position and sub-option conditions will be disabled,
allowing you to determine whether the option is applied.
All Trainers gain random sub options upon acquistion. Trainers with sub options grant bonus stats when registered to a specific position (based on the starting position in the lineup).
Supreme Players gain 2x sub option effects from Trainers.
Equip the Trainer that best suits your player's traits!
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
Trainers' stats increase, and the chance of certain situations occurring are granted randomly within a certain range. There may be slight differences in the value of options even for the same Trainers.
Stats increased by Trainers are reflected before the game starts, and will influence the activation of skills and bonus effects.
The skills influenced are as follows.
- Ace Specialist / Barrel It Up / Giant Crusher / Dominant Pitcher / Finesse Pitcher
[Acquiring Trainers]
Trainers can be acquired using Trainer Recruit Tickets earned at a certain rate from the League Master Mode reward box.
The rate of acquiring a higher grade Trainer Recruit Ticket from the league reward box increases in higher League Master Mode seasons.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
The reward box rate based on the league year can be checked via the Store → Item → "Chance" on the top right → League Reward Rates!
Bronze / Silver / Gold / Diamond Trainer Recruit Tickets are available.
Premium Trainer Recruit Tickets give a Silver - Diamond Trainer based on the rates.
Premium Trainer Recruit Ticket can be purchased once a week in the Ranked Shop of the Special Shop.
Use Ranked Coins earned in Ranked Battle to purchase Premium Trainer Recruit Tickets!
[Equipping Trainers]
Up to 3 Trainers can be equipped by Diamond grade or higher players!
Duplicate Trainers can be equipped to each player, but only one Special Trainer can be equipped to each player.
Register a player and select an empty slot to activate the Register button on the bottom right. Use this button to equip Trainers and Special Trainers you own.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
- A Trainer cannot be equipped to multiple players. Once equipped to a player, it cannot be equipped to another player.
- Use the Sort button to find Trainers that fit the selected conditions.
- Players equipping a Trainer cannot be released or used as combination/mentor material.
- Trainers you own will be shown based on the registered player's position (pitcher/batter).
E.g., Registering a pitcher will only show pitcher Trainers you own.
Equip a Trainer and select Stats to check the stats increased by the Trainer.
The Remove button on the bottom right will be activated when you select an equipped Trainer.
Removed Trainers will be sent to the Player Reserve.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
The removal cost of Trainers varies based on their grade.
- Bronze: 30,000 pts / Silver: 50,000 pts / Gold: 70,000 pts / Diamond: 100,000 pts
[Trainer Reserve]
Both Trainers and Special Trainers are stored in the Trainer Reserve.
100 Trainer Reserve slots are given by default, which can be expanded to 500 in 20 increments using 300 Stars.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
Trainer Reserve can be expanded via the Main Menu → Team Management → Trainer → Trainer Reserve → + button on the top right. Stars used for expansion are eligible for the 2x mileage event.
[Releasing Trainers]
You can use the Release button in Trainer Reserve to release the selected Trainers.
Once released, they cannot be recovered.
⚡Quick Tip⚡:
- Equipped Trainers are not included in the release list.
- Use the Sort button to show the batter/pitcher Trainers by grade.
That's all you need to know about Trainers.
