It's been a while since we posted the last developer's note!

We've been busy with the World Arena Championship preliminary tournaments held in Korea, Taiwan and China.

With love and support that you've shown us, the World Arena Championship Regionals have successfully ended.

Once again, we'd like to thank all of you for your support for the Championship!

Now, please read below for more info on the new content that will be updated in late September, including the World Arena [Special League] and new Fusion Recipes!

▶ World Arena Schedule

- The World Arena Season 2 is almost over!

Below is the details of the schedule for the Season 2 & Season 3.

> Season 2 will end on Sep. 28th. (Tentative)

> Season 3 will begin on Oct. 16th. (Tentative)

- We'll put up a separate notice if there's any change to the schedule above and you'll be able to see the closing/starting date in the World Arena Entrance Menu as previously.

- For Season 2, results will be tallied and rewards will be sent in the same way as for Season 1. Please refer to the previous Developer's Note for details. 

- Though there's no change to the tallying process, we'll be holding a new tournament called, the [Special League], between Season 2 and Season 3.

▶ World Arena Special League Details

First, let's take a look at the image below.

- An icon will appear at the top-middle of the World Arena Lobby Screen when the World Arena Special League starts.

Tap the icon to enter the World Arena Special League exclusive menu.

- Some of you may have already noticed, but this World Arena Special League will proceed as a 20★ Battle. Although the Special League will be held as a 20★ Battle this time, we plan to add various modes to the Special League in the future. 

- Now, we'd like to talk about the details of the Special League including the schedule and some characteristics of the league.

▶ World Arena Special League Schedule and Characteristics 

- We plan to follow the schedule below for the World Arena Special League. 

Please note that the schedule is tentative.

> World Arena Special League will begin on Sep. 29th. 

> World Arena Special League will end on Oct. 12th. 

* The Special League will be held for a total of 14 days.

- As we've mentioned above, the World Arena Special League will be held as a 20★ Battle and you'll be able to enter the league up to 30 times a day (same as before).

- There will be a separate Victory Point System for the Special League and your grade will be determined according to that system. 

Since the league period is shorter than before (14 days), the grade system will be consisted in a different way. You only have to play once and you'll automatically participate in the league. (No Placement Battle!) Please take a look below for the modified grade system.

- You'll be able to acquire [Glory Tokens] when you win in the World Arena Special League and you can use this to purchase items at an exclusive shop. 

- You can also get additional [Glory Tokens] as a bonus according to your final grade when the World Arena Special League ends. Please see below for the amount of [Glory Tokens] available per grade. 

- Your [Glory Tokens] won't disappear even after the Special League ends and will be given again as a reward in the following Special League.

Now, let me explain to you about the items you can purchase using the Glory Tokens.

▶ World Arena Special League Rewards

- The following items will be available at the Special League Exclusive Shop.

: You'll now be able to purchase the following 4 items.

[Keeper of Magic Ifrit Transmogrification, Flaming Conqueror's Fury Transmogrification Effect, Luminous Sky Pegasus, Medal Exchange].

: As World Arena Season 1 ended and Season 2 proceeded, many of you wanted to earn the Season Reward which can't be acquired once the season is over.

We've previously put up a notice that the World Arena Season Reward will only be available during the corresponding season; however, we've thoroughly reviewed and checked your feedbacks and decided to give another chance to get the Season 1 Reward for those who just started to play Summoners War and those who couldn't play the World Arena Season 1 because they weren't ready. The Season 1 Reward will now be available as the Special League Reward. 

: However, we plan to adjust the balancing so that this reward is only given to those who win the game sufficient times in the Special League considering how difficult it was to get the Season 1 Reward. Additionally, we've made it available for you to exchange [Glory Tokens] for Medals so that even those who've already collected the Season 1 Reward can still enjoy playing in the Special League.

We hope you enjoy the new type of World Arena, [Special League], and we also hope to see some creative decks as the league is proceeded as 20★ Battles. 

▶ New Monster Fusion 

- A new Monster you can acquire via Monster Fusion will be added with the next update. 

The Monster will be called as [Paladin] and it'll be a 5★ Monster with Light Attribute. 

Please see below for the new Monster image.

(Please note that you'll be able to acquire this Monster in all 5 attributes via Summoning.)

- A total of 3 new Monster Fusions will be added. 

Light Paladin (5★), Fire Harp Magician (4★), Water Samurai (4★)

- Though we can't give you the details of the skill info since we're still balancing some skills, we plan to design HP-type Monsters that can protect other allies.

- Have you noticed that there's a Light Cow Girl in the Fusion Recipe? The Secret Dungeon for Light Cow Girl will be open starting Sep. 24th, so make sure to take advantage of this opportunity! 

(The Light Cow Girl won't be available from the scrolls and the Water/Fire/Wind Cow Girls can only be acquired at the Guild Shop.)
