[Info] New Dimension Update: Sacreon 2022.03.09

Greetings from the Summoners War Dev Team!

We're sure some of you are already aware of what we're bringing you in today's developer's note.

Today, we would like to discuss the details regarding the new dimension and the 2nd awakening Monsters that were announced in the pre-notice.

We were surprised to see many Summoners guess the 2nd awakening Monsters correctly from the pre-notice.

Thank you for your interest and support, as always.

It's been a while since we announced the previous dimension, Dimension Khalderun.

We're happy to reveal the new dimension and the new 2nd awakening Monsters that you've all been waiting for.

Currently in Summoners War, there are 4 dimensions each with different concepts and unique entry conditions, those including beast dimension Karzhan, fairy dimension Ellunia, beast men dimension Lumel, and Khalderun of the dead.

Now, let's learn more about the 5th dimension.

▶ New Dimension: Sacreon

The name of the new dimension is "Sacreon". Dimension Sacreon is a place where forgotten heroes venture on journeys with stories of their own. Take a look at the background image of "Sacreon" where fierce battles will take place in a ruined old castle!

[Dimension Sacreon]

- Consists of "Dimension Dungeon" where the Ancient Guardian appears as a boss, and "2nd Awakening Dungeon" for 2nd awakening.

- The newly added 2nd awakening Monsters are [Vagabond] and [Mystic Witch]. We'll explain more about 2nd awakening Monsters below!

- The entry conditions of Dimension Sacreon are [Monsters of different attributes].

: In this dimension, you can only enter battle with Monsters of different attributes. It's simply the opposite of Dimension Ellunia's entry conditions: "Monsters of the same attribute".

Next up, the 2nd awakening Monsters of Dimension Sacreon!

▶ Dimension Sacreon: 2nd Awakening

[Vagabond] and [Mystic Witch] will be added to Dimension Sacreon as 2nd awakening Monsters.

Let's check out their images first!

Vagabond and Mystic Witch have become even stronger with 2nd awakening.

Tenacious Vagabond that won't succumb to anyone, and stylish Mystic Witch sitting on the staff!

We'll do our best to make 2nd awakening available with the update!

In particular, Vagabond is a familiar Monster faced earlier on in the tutorial.

We're very curious to see which Monster you'll be 2nd awakening first!

Don't forget that 2nd awakening upgrades the Monster's skills as well as their appearance!

See below for the 2nd awakening Monsters' skills per attribute!

Fire Mystic Witch's [Spell of Removal] notably stands out!

With the 2nd awakening, she gains an attack bar increasing effect. We hope to see her perform in various situations by protecting allies and gaining additional turns quickly!

Furthermore, the stages of the 2nd awakening dungeon will be composed of the following attributes.

That's it for the 2nd awakening Monsters. Let's get onto the dimension dungeon of Dimension Sacreon!

▶ Dimension Sacreon: Dimension Dungeon

Introducing the new boss of Dimension Sacreon, Ancient Guardian!

Let's take a look at the image first.

Sacreon's Ancient Guardian is protected by sturdy armor and wields a giant sword.

Since it wields a giant sword, it tends to use heavy single attacks and sword energy instead of light and precise attacks.

Here are some of its basic skill info.

Aside from these basic skills, the Ancient Guardian has an ability that summons Monsters on its side every phase and combines the Monsters' skills to create a special skill.

Check out the list of Monsters that Ancient Guardian summons every phase!

What kind of special skills will the Ancient Guardian use with the summoned Monsters?

Here's a sneak peek of a special skill in Phase 1! The skills of Phase 2 and 3 are up for you to guess!

There's another unique aspect of Dimension Sacreon's Ancient Guardian.

It can change its attribute situationally in battle!

It enters the battle as Light attribute in Phase 1, and the boss' attribute changes from Phase 2!

The boss changes to the opposite attribute of the Monster that inflicted the most damage.

For example, if you entered the battle with Lushen and Rakan placed, it will proceed as follows.

- In Phase 1, Ancient Guardian enters the battle as the default attribute, Light. If Lushen inflicted the most damage in Phase 1,

- Ancient Guardian changes its attribute from Light → Fire in Phase 2. If Rakan inflicted the most damage in Phase 2,

- Ancient Guardian changes its attribute from Fire → Wind in Phase 3! You'll fight the Wind attribute Ancient Guardian in Phase 3.

Additionally, the Ancient Guardian will not change to the attribute that it already changed to during Phase 1/ 2/ 3. It'll always change to a different attribute.

You can get battle rewards if you manage to defeat the fearsome and powerful Ancient Guardian.

- The battle rewards for clearing Sacreon Dimension Dungeon are as follows.

New Focus/ Revenge/ Fight Ancient Runes, Grindstones, and Gems will be added.

We're also expanding the Rune and Grindstone/ Gem slots in the next update in time for the newly added Ancient Rune/ Grindstone/ Gem.

Rune and Grindstone/ Gem slots will be expanded by 100 slots.

We hope this can relieve some of the pressure regarding slots for the newly added Ancient Runes/ Grindstone/ Gem and let Summoners farm without stressing!

We would be grateful for your interest and support for the new dimension hole [Sacreon].

We'll wrap up today's dev note by announcing another update that's been planned along with the new dimension hole update.

It's the [Rune Power-up Queue]. Let's find out more about it!

▶ Rune Power-up Queue function will be added to enable Summoners to play Repeat Battles or other content whilst powering up Runes.

[What is a Rune Power-up Queue?]

- Rune Power-up Queue is a function that can register 10 Runes in advance to power up, and the registered Runes will be powered up sequentially.

- It is provided to enable Summoners to register Rune power-ups and enjoy other content, including battles, whilst the pop-up is minimized.

- You can add a maximum of 10 Runes to the Rune Power-up Queue anytime.

- You can select a power-up level of your choice (+3/+6/+9/+12/+15) and register.

- Check the Rune Power-up Queue to view the Runes that completed power-ups to power-up additionally or sell.

You can now play other content without waiting for Rune power-ups to be completed!

Here's how [Rune Power-up Queue] will be presented to you!

▶ The main UI will be changed as follows.

There are two key UI changes for the Rune power-up screen.

[1] Queue menu will be added to the bottom of the power-up button.

[2] The existing [Close Pop-up] button will be changed to the [Minimize Pop-up] button.

You can utilize these two functions in the following ways.

- Add other Runes to the power-up queue during a Rune power-up.

: Minimize pop-up during a Rune power-up and select a power-up of another Rune and register it to the Rune Power-up Queue.

: The order of Rune Power-up follows the order registered onto the power-up queue, and the order is indicated by a number on the Rune icon.

- Enjoy other content during Rune power-up.

: Minimize Rune power-up pop-up and play other content.

- Immediately register Runes obtained as a reward in various content to the power-up queue and enjoy the content without exiting.

: For example, you can immediately register Runes obtained as a repeat battle reward to the power-up queue, and proceed with the next repeat battle.

▶ You can sell or power-up additionally in the Rune power-up queue result screen.

As shown above, you can check the power-up result and sell or move back to the power-up screen to carry out additional power-ups.

▶ A menu that can load the minimized Rune power-up pop-up will be added.

A menu button will be added to load the minimized Rune power-up pop-up.

You can also load the power-up pop-up again even when you select a Rune that's being powered up.

This is it for the newly added Rune Power-up Queue!

We hope that the new Rune Power-up Queue can help Summoners play various content without having to wait for Rune power-ups to be completed.

Unfortunately, Artifact power-up queue function will not be included in this update.

But it's also under internal review to be added, so stay tuned!

That's all we have for today's dev note!

The information discussed in this note will be released via the v6.5.5 update.

(Please note that the update schedule may change due to development status or market issues. We ask for your generous understanding in advance.)

We'll do our utmost to prepare for the new Dimension Sacreon, 2nd awakening Monsters, and Rune Power-up Queue update!

Thank you for your interest!

We will be back with another exciting news. See you next time!
