Greetings from the Summoners War Dev Team!

To start off, we would like to thank Summoners who have shared positive feedback regarding the Arena Interserver Battle improvement. We are happy that more Summoners are actively participating in season 2.

In today's note, we would like to discuss the [Summoner's Way] improvement.

Summoners War has a wide variety of content, and there are quests prepared such as [Challenge], [Summoner's Way] and [Achievement] for Summoners to easily learn and play the content.

As we are adding more guide quests and content, we wanted to revamp the existing quests.

We felt the need to reorganize gameplay according to various guide quests and add new quests based on recently added content.

So for the next update, we will be introducing the renewed version of guide quests, Summoner's Way.

<Summoner's Way Menu Improvement>

- [Challenge] and [Summoner's Way] guide quests will be integrated into the Summoner's Way menu.

: The existing [Summoner's Way] will be now called [Progression].

: The quests will be rearranged to flow naturally according to the early game progression.

: New quests will be added and the existing quests will be revised for the early game progression.

: A shortcut function that allows you to go directly to the quest location will be added.

: Guide dialogues of Reina in [Challenge] will be revised.

: Guide quests of some content that were not in the game yet will be newly added.

Along with these changes, the overall UI of Summoner's Way menu will also be renewed.

We will explain more with the screenshots!

First, you can enter the content by tapping the Summoner's Way Icon.

Once you tap the icon, you will see the newly improved [Progression] and [Challenge] menu.

You can clearly recognize the overall progress of each step and see what the next assignments are in advance.

This will help Summoners to learn about the game content of Summoners War easily and naturally by following the given quests.

<Summoner's Way Detailed Configuration>

We will explain how Progression and Challenge quests are different.

[Progression] consists of guide quests that help you understand and adapt to the game by clearing quests that flow together with your early progression. Ellia will give details about the quests and how to clear them.

In [Progression], the quests of Summoner's Way that proceeded from Level 1 to Level 5 and the existing Monster upgrade quests available in the Challenge are rearranged. The quests are presented in 3 steps: Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Summoners. The building related tutorials will be included as well.

[Challenge] consists of guide quests that were briefly introduced in Progression or those that were not mentioned before in more depth. Reina will give details about the quests and how to clear them.

For the Monster Fusion challenge, the target Monster will be changed from Dark Ifrit to Wind Dryad.

Fusing a 4★ Monster will be easier for clearing quests and will increase accessibility for new Summoners. Not to mention that the Wind Dryad is one of the essential Monsters for the Giant's Keep!

We've added quests related to the Dragon's Lair, Necropolis, Steel Fortress, Punisher's Crypt, Rift Dungeon, Raid and Dimension Hole that were not available in the past. This will give a clear goal and sense of achievement for Summoners with generous rewards. There are individual rewards given for clearing each quests and the final reward at the end, so please stay tuned.

Reading the dev note so far, you may think that these changes have nothing to do with you because you've already cleared all the quests.

We decide to reopen the quests so that all Summoners can play the new Summoner's Way and get all available rewards.

The dev team made the above decision in the hope that more Summoners will play the rebooted [Summoner's Way] content that our team has put many efforts on.

We hope that new Summoners will get a great help from the [Summoner's Way] and communicate with the existing Summoners together.

We plan to release the v6.5.4 update on Feb. 25th.

Summoner's Way will reopen to all Summoners once the update is released, meaning all the Summoner's Way and challenge progression will reset.

If you haven't completed all the quests yet, we strongly advise you to clear them before the update.

Lastly, we would like to talk about one more update that will be included in the upcoming update.​

<Other Improvements>

- Summoners will be able to use emojis in the chat.

Emojis that could only be used in the World Arena battles will be available to be used in the chat such as normal/ guild chats.

You can use emojis you own through the icon at the bottom of the chat without any additional settings.

Brownie Magician emojis that were provided as default emojis during the World Arena emoji update can be used by all Summoners in normal chat.

Occult Girl and Harg emojis can be used as well if you already obtained them as World Arena season rewards or from events. If you don't have them yet, you can purchase them through the following route.

Additionally, 4 Joker emojis will be added as new rewards from the Summoner's Way. Please stay tuned for the new emojis that will be available through various routes.

We hope Summoners will use emojis to express their emotions and have conversations with other Summoners in the chat.​​​
