Greetings from the Summoners War Dev Team!

We are happy to be back with this year's first dev note and talk about this exciting topic that everyone has been waiting for - Repeat Battle Improvement!

Our team has been working hard to improve the repeat battle system since its introduction. Thanks to your positive feedback and support, we also put a lot of efforts on this improvement as well.

We will introduce how the repeat battle will be improved in the game step by step, so please read below for the details.

▶ New [Multi-battle] Feature: You can now run repeat battle and other battles at the same time.

Summoners were able to manage monsters and do island activities while running the repeat battle, but could not run other battles.

We continued to think it would be nice to allow Summoners to enjoy other battle contents and the repeat battle at the same time.

With the next update, Summoners will be able to use the Multi-battle feature to enter other battle contents (that are not available in repeat battle) while running the repeat battle!

First, we've summarized what battle contents are supported in Multi-battle.

- The list of battle contents that can be played in Multi-battle:

However, there will be some contents that cannot be played simultaneously.

- The list of battle contents that cannot be played in Multi-battle:

Contents that are already available in repeat battle (Scenario and Cairos Dungeon) won't be available in Multi-battle.

In addition to this, Cairos Dungeon's [Hall of Heroes, Secret Dungeon, Event Dungeon (Rainbowmon, Angelmon, Devilmon Dungeon) and Dimension Hole's [Dimension Predator] won't be available as well with this update.

However, please note that we plan to add these contents to the list of contents for the Multi-battle. We ask for your patience.

Now you may wonder how your gameplay will look like when using the Multi-battle!

Please read the following for our detailed explanation.

▶ An Icon that brings up the repeat battle menu in various screens will be added.

- [Repeat Battle Menu Icon] will be added to allow you to check the results of repeat battle or run additional repeat battle after the repeat battle is over.

There's an icon that's not in the game right now in the example image above. This icon is the menu icon that brings up the repeat battle screen.

The repeat battle menu icon will be provided in the Dimension Hole or Arena Lobby, and you can manage your repeat battle again through this icon. This way, Summoners won't have to exit the current content they're playing to manage or reassign the repeat battle.

We've prepared a gameplay video that plays the repeat battle and other battle content at the same time for better understanding.

[Gameplay Demo]

We can't wait to see Summoners playing Arena, Guild Battle and Trial of Ascension while running the repeat battle.

This new improvement will also be helpful for you to complete the season achievements that were recently added to the World Arena Season 16 :)!

Also, we would like to talk about one more thing that our team is preparing to introduced with the repeat battle improvement update.

New equipment called "Artifacts" were introduced to the game last year with the new dungeons, Steel Fortress and Punisher's Crypt. We've been continuously monitoring the game and the use of Artifacts. Through this monitoring, we started to discuss how to renew and improve the Artifacts.

Our goal is to improve Artifacts so Summoners can utilize them more strategically, leading to more thrilling and exciting battles.

Please read below as we explain how we will be renewing the Artifacts.

▶ Sub properties of [Artifacts] will be improved as follows.

- In order to improve the effects of some sub-properties, the value of stats that increase from power-ups will be increased.

: In the case of power-up value improvement, it will also be applied to the existing Artifacts. Meaning, the Artifacts you acquired before the update will have the changed power-up value applied when you power up the Artifacts. (The increased value will be applied for power-up +3/+6/+9/+12.)

However, the Artifacts that have already been powered up to Power-up +12 or more will not be affected by this improvement.

- The following sub-properties will no longer occur from acquiring Artifacts or powering up Artifacts after the v6.2.0 update.

This improvement has been made based on the sub-properties that are underutilized.

If you have Artifacts or Engraved Conversion Stones that include these sub-properties, you will be able to use them/ enchant them the same as before after the update.

- The following sub-properties will be available from acquiring Artifacts or powering up Artifacts after the v6.2.0 update.

Some of you may already be thinking about the Monsters who could utilize these new sub-properties! The effect that increases the single-target attack skill critical damage could go well with Laika or Aegir that are used often in the Siege Battle.

We'd like to summarize how this improvement will affect the Engraved Conversion Stones, the item used to convert the sub-properties of Artifacts.

- The Engraved Conversion Stones with sub-properties that will be excluded from this renewal can be used the same as before.

- The Engraved Conversion Stones with sub-properties that will have the value of stats increased from this renewal will apply the increased value when you use the unused Engraved Conversion Stones after the update.

Lastly, we've prepared a short Q&A regarding the Artifact renewal.

<Q&A>

Q: What would happen to the Artifacts/Engraved Conversions with sub-properties that I already have but to be deleted?

A: Those sub-properties will not be deleted but changed so that they're no longer granted. The Artifacts/ Engraved Stones that you already possess can be used the same as before.

Q: Can I get the newly added sub-properties when I power-up the Artifacts that I already have?

A: When powering up the existing Artifacts, the newly added sub-properties can be granted, and the excluded sub-properties will not be granted.

Q: How is the sub-property value applied to the Artifacts that I already have?

A: The stat value of Artifacts that have already been powered up will remain the same as before. The sub-properties that are powered up or granted after the update can get the increased value applied with power-ups.

Q: How will the sub-properties or value of Engraved Conversion Stones that are not yet used change?

A: The Engraved Conversion Stones with excluded sub-properties can be used the same as before, and the Engraved Conversion Stones that have sub-properties with increased value will be applied with the changed value collectively.

Please understand that the Artifacts that have already been powered up will not be affected by the increased value. (However, if you have Artifacts that are powered up to certain level, the Artifacts will be applied with the increased value when you power up them to the next power-up levels such as +3, +6, +9 and +12.)

The team had discussed about this matter carefully, but it was impossible to apply the increased value to the Artifacts that are already powered up due to technical difficulties. We ask for your kind understanding.

We hope that Artifacts will become one of the main factors that can fully bring out the potential of your Monsters. We look forward to see Summoners utilizing the Artifacts in their own unique way!

(The developer's note is intended to help you understand the upcoming updates in advance.

As development and testing are still underway, we ask you to understand that the actual update may be different from what we have shared in this note.)

This is all we have for today's dev note!

The content discussed in this note is planned to be released via v6.2.0 in late-January, so please stay tuned.

The dev team is always open to your honest feedback and suggestion of our users.

Please don't hesitate to share your valuable feedback via various channels.

As many of you know, we have a special 7th anniversary event that's going on in the game!

7 years of service couldn't have been possible without your love and support, and we hope you are enjoying the event that we planned for you.

We will be back with more exciting news soon. Thanks!
