[Info] Dimension Hole Update Part 2 - Secondary Awakening 2019.06.10

Greetings from the Summoners War Development Team!

As we notified in our last developer’s note, we are back with another note to talk more about the Dimension Hole.

In this note, details of the Secondary Awakening Dungeons and the available rewards will be discussed.

Please see below for more info!

<Secondary Awakening>

As you can probably guess from the term “Secondary Awakening”, you can proceed with the secondary awakening with the awakened monsters. With the secondary awakening, the monsters will be changed as follows:

<Changes with Secondary Awakening>

- Basic stats will be increased greatly

- Skills will be upgraded

- The monster’s appearance will be upgraded

Unlike the normal awakening where you awaken a monster with Essence of Magic/ Essence of corresponding attribute, you can perform the secondary awakening through entering the Dimension Hole.

The target monster will earn EXP from entering battles – which means that the secondary awakening requires a certain amount of time. We estimate about 100 gameplays under the highest difficulty level will be required to proceed the secondary awakening with one monster.

Next, we will talk about the Secondary Awakening Dungeons.

<Secondary Awakening Dungeons>

Can you think of a monster after looking at the image above? This is the appearance of Fairy with secondary awakening.

Shall we talk about other points of the image?

① A list of secondary awakening dungeons

You can tap the thumbnails shown at the top-right to enter each monster’s secondary weakening dungeon.

With the first update, a total of 4 monsters will be available in the secondary awakening dungeon.

Dimension Karzhan – Inugami and Warbear / Dimension Ellunia – Fairy and Pixie

② Battle difficulty level

A total of 5 difficulty levels exist. You have to clear the previous level to enter the next level. You can enter levels at any time once they are opened.

<Secondary Awakening Dungeon EXP>

In order to enter the Secondary Awakening Dungeon, you must include the secondary awakening target monster on your team. One monster is required, but you can't use more than one of the target monster.

Also, the target monster should be awakened to enter battles.

A monster that has completed its secondary awakening cannot earn any more of secondary awakening EXP, but can still enter the secondary awakening dungeon battles.

The monster can earn secondary awakening dungeon EXP once the battle is cleared.

(Along with the secondary awakening EXP, you can also earn a battle reward. We will explain more about this later on.)

We decided to call the secondary awakening EXP as “AXP”. As you can guess from the word, A stands for Awaken, and XP stands for the EXP (Experience Point).

Once the monster gains full AXP, you can proceed the secondary awakening by going to the Monster > Awaken menu.

There is one more requirement to proceed the secondary awakening: all of the monster’s skills need to be leveled up to the max.

However, the skill level up is not one of conditions to enter the secondary awakening dungeon, so you can level up the skills any time before you proceed the secondary awakening.

Also the monster doesn’t have to be in 6★ & max level, meaning you can proceed the secondary awakening first and power up the monsters later on or vice versa.

When the monster has completed its secondary awakening, the monster’s skills will be upgraded and renewed as new skills.

With the new skills, the skill level will be reset to 1, and you can level up the skills again.

To level up the skills, you can use the same secondary awakening monster (attribute doesn’t matter) or Devilmon.

When you want to level up the skills by using the same monster, keep in mind that you can only use the monsters that have completed the secondary awakening.

You can proceed the secondary awakening at the current Awaken menu. You will be able to see what will be changed/ added and the monster’s AXP status.

Now, we would like to introduce the skills of secondary awakening monsters.

For your convenience, we will discuss how the skills change before and after the secondary awakening.

<Secondary Awakening Skills>

In this note, we will be showing skills of four monsters – (Light) Fairy, (Wind) Pixie, (Water) Warbear, and (Fire) Inugami.

Many of you will be curious about other monsters’ skills, and we’re sorry for not showing all of them in this note. Please check them out in the game after the update.

We put a lot of efforts to make charming monsters. We look forward to seeing Summoners loving them!

The information provided in the developer’s note has been prepared to help you understand the upcoming content better. As the development and testing are still under way, please understand that some content may change in the actual update.

As we briefly mentioned in the note above, we now will talk about the battle rewards that Summoners can get from clearing secondary awakening dungeon battles.

<Secondary Awakening Dungeon Rewards>

In the secondary awakening dungeons, new items are available as rewards.

The acquired items can be used at the Craft Building to craft Ancient Runes and Ancient Reappraisal Stones.

<Ancient Rune & Ancient Reappraisal Stone Crafting>

- [Craft Building > Rune > Craft Ancient Rune] will be added.

When crafting an Ancient Rune, you will be able to select a rune of each dimension to craft.

You will need materials (Rune Ores) that are dropped in the selected dimension, so we advise you to know which runes are dropped in each dimension.

- [Craft Building > Special > Ancient Reappraisal Stone] will be added.

To craft Ancient Reappraisal Stones, you will need Ancient Magic Stones and Ancient Magic Origins that are dropped in all dimensions.

An Ancient Reappraisal Stone can be crafted two times per week.

Please note that the Ancient Reappraisal Stones can only be used on the Ancient Runes.

Also, you cannot use normal Grindstones, Enchanted Gems and Reappraisal Stones on the Ancient Runes.

In the chart below, you can find what kind of materials you need to craft the Ancient Runes and Ancient Reappraisal Stones.

This is the end of the Dimension Hole Update developer's note.
