Greetings from Com2uS!
We're back with the 2nd Developer's Note as we promised!
The 2nd Developer's Note will be about the [Craft System], so read below for a preview of the new content!
> Craft Features
- Craft is a system where users can make various items, such as Buildings and Runes, using materials acquired from the gameplay.
- The materials required for the Craft System will be new items added to the game, and these items will be available from the Scenario (Hell Mode), Cairos Dungeon (5F or higher), and the Rift Dungeon.
- You'll need a new Building called, "School of Magic Research Center (Tentative)" in order to use the Craft System, and this Building will become available when you reach Lv. 19.
- You can acquire the following 4 things from the Craft.
1. Buildings
2. Runes
3. Homunculus
4. Special Items
> Craft - Buildings
- The basic feature of the Buildings is decoration.
Let me give you some examples.
* Firework Launcher
You can place 2 Monsters at the Firework Launcher.
You'll be able to see the Monsters cheering when the fireworks are flared up.
* Ancient Giant Statue
The Ancient Giant Statue will become available when you clear the 10th floor of the Giant's Keep.
You'll be able to see the Ancient Giant's hologram.
You'll be able to organize your Monsters while decorating your own Sky Island with these Buildings!
- Production Buildings as well as Buildings with buff effects will also be added to the Craft System.
* Crystal Dragon
Similar to the Crystal Titan, Crystal Dragon also produces Crystals regularly.
However, Crystal Dragon can carry out various activities, such as flying and sleeping, unlike the Crystal Titan that just stays in one place.
We also plan on adding more decoration items, such as trees and bushes in different shapes and colors, so please stay tuned!
> Craft - Runes
- 5 new Runes will be added with the major update, and you'll be able to craft both the existing and new Runes.
- The materials required to craft the existing Runes can be found in the Giant's Keep, Dragon's lair, and Necropolis.
- Materials required to craft the existing Runes are closely related to the Runes dropped from the dungeon.
Ex) Materials needed to craft the Swift Rune (Available from the Giant's Keep) are mostly dropped in the Giant's Keep.
- The new Runes can only be acquired through the Craft System, and the materials needed can be acquired from the Rift Dungeon. (Please refer to Developer's Note 3 in the near future to learn more about the New Rune Effects.)
- There are 3 Grades regarding the Rune Craft System.
- You need to select the Rune Set and Grade first at the Craft Rune Menu in the Craft Building in order to Craft Runes.
* Rune & Material Drop Rate
The chances of getting the Unknown Scroll will be greatly decreased and the chances of getting the Runes below 4★ will be slightly decreased. The drop rate of the materials for crafting Runes will come from the decreased amount of the drop rate of the Unknown Scroll and the Runes.
Please note that this drop rate change will only be applied in the Cairos Dungeon (5F or higher), and the 5★+ Rune Drop Rate will remain the same.
> Craft - Special Items
- Various items with different features can be crafted in the Special Items Menu. Please read further for the details.
* Magic Box
A Box where users can acquire various items, including Scrolls, Runes, and Mana Stones.
* Flying Boat
A flying boat that freely floats around the Sky Island.
* Ellia's Costume
Various costumes for Ellia will be added.
That's all we have for now but more items will be added to the new system so please stay tuned!
Hope you guys are looking forward to the new update!
I can't wait to decorate the Sky Island with various Buildings and items!
By the way, are you worried that the Sky Island might become too crowded with all the Buildings that's added?
Don't worry! Check out the following news we've prepared for you!
1. The Max Account Level will be increased to Lv. 50.
2. The Max Energy will also be increased accordingly.
3. 3 more Sky Island Expansion levels.
* Please note that the new content introduced in the Developer's Note is still under development and it may change during the development process.
That's it for the 2nd Developer's Note and we'll be back with the 3rd Developer's Note to tell you about the Homunculus!
Stay tuned for more info on the new content!
Thanks!
